Class Info & Descriptions

Monthly Club Meeting – Free

Second Thursday of the month (11 am & 6pm)

Come and Share a project that you have completed. We will review the upcoming events and classes for the month. Plus, we will review what’s new in the world of In Stitches.
Rules for Show & Tell project: Must physically bring the project in the store. Cannot show the same project more than once in a 12 month period.


Desiree's Mug Rug Workshop - $15
Advanced Registration Required

Learn a new embroidery technique. You will receive the design file along with directions on how to complete the project. Kit included. 
Items needed for class: machine, embroidery arm, power cord, hoop with grid, accessory box and a pen to take notes. Additional supply list available for project.


  

Kimberbell Project Workshop - $15

Runner of the Month - $15 and requires purchase of kit

Learn quilting techniques to complete a cute table runner. 


Sewing Machine Guide Classes – Free with purchase of machine ($25 per hour)

We will review the basics of how to properly use and clean your machine. 

Items needed for class: machine, power cord, accessory box, scrap fabric and a pen to take notes

 

Embroidery Machine Guide Classes - Free with purchase of machine ($25 per hour)

We will review the basics of how to properly use and clean your machine. .

Items needed for class: machine, embroidery arm, power cord, hoop with grid, accessory box, piece of stabilizer & fabric for hoop and a pen to take notes

 

Stabilizer & Hooping Class - $20

Advanced Registration Required

You will receive a sample pack of each type of stabilizer and a handout.We will review all the types of stabilizer and how to use them. In addition, we will review proper hooping techniques. Feel free to bring a hard to hoop item and try to stump Gabe on how to hoop the item.

Class/Workshop Rules

 

  1. Classes are required to be paid for by COB (Close of Business) two days prior to class. No kits will be cut after the cut-off.                                                 Example: Classes on a Tuesday will need to be paid for by COB Saturday. Classes on Thursday will need to be paid for by COB Tuesday.
  1. Kits are non-refundable.
  2. Due to copyright laws we are unable to offer custom sizing for projects. We will make every attempt to resize designs to accommodate your machine within copyright laws.
  3. Classes will have a start and end time. Attendees are welcome to stay after class to finish a project that is not complete. We will not guarantee an instructor past the class end time and/or 30 minutes upon end of class. Attendees must leave the classroom within one hour of closing to allow employees time to clean the room and/or setup for the next class.
  4. Attendees are asked to be setup and ready at the start time of classes. We will open the classroom 30 minutes prior to class start times.
  5. Any attendees arriving late will not be accommodated. You are asked that if you will not arrive within 30 minutes of start time then to please reschedule to the next class time.
  6. Any class or workshop that requires a design pack purchase the attendee will need to bring the design pack with them and have available on their work table. If the design pack is not available we will not be able to provide you with the design.
